Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum to Hold ‘Monumental 4th of July Picnic’

PROVINCETOWN – The Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum is welcoming anyone and everyone to the Monument grounds to watch the fireworks on Independence Day.

On July 4 from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m., PMPM invites everyone to pitch a blanket, bring a picnic or purchase delicious food on-site, and watch the fireworks display that can be seen from miles around Cape Cod.

There are several options to choose from: The grounds on the West Lawn will be open to all for free starting at 5pm. A cash bar and various offerings for food as described below are available.

For a VIP experience, support the PMPM at this fundraising event and buy a ticket for $75 to picnic on the East Lawn which includes an open bar for beer and wine, a light picnic buffet with sandwiches, salad, cookies and popcorn and reserved viewing space to watch the fireworks from in front of the Monument.

VIP ticketholders can also reserve a parking space for the day at a cost of $35 at the time they purchase their ticket.

In addition, anyone can purchase “The 2020” – the official cocktail of Provincetown 400 – featuring Truro Vineyards Rose Gin; Cider from Shoal Hope Ciderworks of Provincetown; Ice Cream from the Local Scoop: and Burgers, hot dogs, and other offerings from Tween the Tides.
