Pleasant Bay Community Boating Shifts into Fall Programming

CHATHAM – Pleasant Bay Community Boating is wrapping up another successful summer season, but that certainly doesn’t mean an end to you opportunities to get out on the water.

Even as the weather cools, things will be heating up at PBCB, with many post-Labor Day offerings including recreational programs available on Saturdays and Sundays throughout September.

Among the programs are Recreational Sailing with PBCB’s fleet of Flying Scots, Catboats, Sunfish and Lasers. There are Muddy Creek Restoration tours led by local scientists, participants will explore the area in kayaks, capturing an up-close look at the rapidly improving ecosystem, its natural beauty, and array of wildlife.

Pleasant Bay Community Boating will also be hosting upcoming screenings of Saving Sea Turtles, and The Last Bay Scallop? In Chatham, featuring presentations and Q & A’s with the filmmakers.

If you’d like to learn more about PBCB and how you might get involved, stop by the Harwich campus or visit PBCB.CC
