Plymouth Man Indicted on Child Pornography Charges

STATE POLICEBROCKTON, Mass. (AP) — A Massachusetts man has been indicted on charges he possessed and disseminated more than 1,100 images of child pornography.

Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz says Plymouth resident Eric Watson was indicted Friday on one count each of dissemination of child pornography and possession of child pornography.

Prosecutors say the 25-year-old Watson was arrested following a monthslong investigation by the Massachusetts State Police Computer Crimes Unit and Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

On March 21, police located a computer IP address that was sharing files they believed contained videos and images of child porn.

On March 31, police arrested Watson at a Plymouth residence and seized the home computer, a smartphone and an iPad.

An arraignment date hasn’t been scheduled yet.

It’s unclear whether Watson has a lawyer.
