Plymouth Waterfront Festival Planned For August

Plymouth Waterfront FestivalPLYMOUTH – Next month the Plymouth waterfront will see tens of thousands of visitors for a popular day-long festival.

The Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce will host the 33rd Annual Downtown Plymouth Waterfront Festival on Saturday, August 27 from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Every year the free, family-friendly festival takes over the waterfront and is attended by about 40,000 people.

Returning events include the Ducky Dash in Brewster Gardens and the 11th annual Motor Head’s Cruise-In Car Show.

The car show will be held at the Plimoth Grist Mill parking lot, which is just a short walk from the waterfront. There is no cost to cruise in and prizes will be awarded in several categories. The show runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The festival also features two stages for live entertainment, over 200 artisans, a Kids Fun Zone and crafter and food vendor booths.

Organizers say there are still limited opportunities available for exhibitors and food vendors but last year’s event did sell out and vendors are urged to sign up early to secure a spot at the festival.
