police carHYANNIS – Barnstable police arrested 3 men in connection with a break-in at Olde Cape Cod Insurance on Winter Street.

Krymeii Fray, Jason Eddy and Andre Brown, all 19, were arrested at a Winter Street home and charged with nighttime breaking and entering.

Police received an alarm from the property at 5:11 a.m. The officer who responded saw a man running from the property.

The man ran in the direction of Grove and Charles streets, police said, but the officer lost sight of the suspect and a police K-9 unit lost the scent.

The officer returned to the office building to see if there were other suspects but did not find anyone there.

Sgt. Chris Challies said a cell phone was found in the building and Fray was identified as a suspect.

Police located a motor vehicle belonging to Fray at 245 Winter Street and found Fray, along with Eddy and Brown at the residence.

Challies said the men confessed to the break-in after questioning, along with confessing to other unsolved B&E’s.

Fray was identified as the man allegedly running from the scene.

They will be arraigned Monday in Barnstable District Court.
