WEST YARMOUTH – Yarmouth Police are investigating a three-vehicle crash on Route 28 last night in West Yarmouth.
Sgt. Tom Hennessey said there is a possibility that one or more passengers may have fled the scene.
The accident occurred at 11:42 p.m. in the area of the Cove Resort when one vehicle rear-ended a second vehicle which propelled into a third car.
There were no injuries reported.
Police believe the fleeing passengers were from just one vehicle but could not confirm if they were from the vehicle that caused the accident.
The incident remains under investigation.
