Police: Hyannis Shooting Not A Random Act

Barnstable Police LogoHYANNIS – Barnstable police say the shooting on North Street in Hyannis early Monday morning was not a random act.

A 36-year-old man was shot in the neck area at the Hyannis Travel Inn around 2:30 a.m. He was taken to a Boston-area hospital for treatment.

The victim is said to be in stable condition.

Officials are still searching for a suspect. Anyone with information is asked to contact Barnstable police.
