Power Outages Across the Cape

PowerlinesBARNSTABLE – The high winds and rain have caused several outages throughout Cape Cod this morning and more than 200 homes remain without power.

Falmouth, which at one point had about 2,600 outages, has about 15 outages remaining, according to Eversource Energy’s online outage map.

Yarmouth has the most outages remaining on the Cape with almost 94, as of 2:40 p.m.

Barnstable still has about 63 outages remaining and at one point was more than 1,300.

The rest of the outages are sporadic across the Cape, with no other town seeing more than 50 homes without power.

There were around 3,000 homes without power on Martha’s Vineyard earlier this morning with just sporadic outages remaining.

The peak of the outages was around 9:30 this morning with almost 7,000 outages reported on the Cape and the Islands.

There is a high surf advisory through 8 p.m. in Barnstable, southern Bristol, southern Plymouth, Dukes and Nantucket counties.
