Pre-Show Lineup Unveiled for 31st Annual Citizens Bank Pops by the Sea Concert

HYANNIS – The Arts Foundation of Cape Cod has announced the pre-show lineup for the 31^st Annual Citizens Bank Pops by the Sea concert that will be held next weekend on the Hyannis Village Green.

Opening acts include the Brazilian band Cla Da Bossa Nova, Cape Cod African Dance and Drum, steel drummer Michael Gabriel and mandolin player Alex Brecelis.

“The staff here is super excited to produce this event, it is really a huge undertaking,” said Arts Foundation of Cape Cod Executive Director Julie Wake.

The event is being held on August 14, with the pre-show beginning at 1 p.m. and the concert at 5 p.m.

Proceeds from the concert enable the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod to fulfill its mission to support, promote and celebrate the arts and culture of Cape Cod.

“We generally get about 15,000 people down on the Hyannis green on one day, and it’s a great opportunity to kind of share this experience with everyone,” said Wake.
