WEST BARNSTABLE – Cape Cod Community College President Dr. John Cox recently won the Pacesetter of the Year award at the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations District One Conference.
Cox was recognized for his efforts to improve student success via educational programs such as Aviation Maintenance Technology and Funeral Service.
In addition, the award cited the overhaul of marketing and communication efforts made by the college, which were supported by Cox.
The school also took home eight Medallion awards, which praise marketing, design, and communication campaigns.
Cox will now be eligible to win the National Pacesetter Award, which will be presented in March at the NCMPR’s National Conference in Orlando.
