Provincetown Community Television Taps News Vet Davies As New Executive Director

Amy DaviesPROVINCETOWN – Provincetown Community Television has promoted from within to find their new Executive Director

Amy Davies, a 20 year veteran of news on Cape Cod and an award-winning video producer, began her new role this week. Davies previously served as PTV’s Director of Public Access.

“Amy was our top candidate due to her multifaceted background, her professionalism, and her expertise of the inner-workings of this station – in addition, she possesses a disciplined and contemplative approach to the business and mission of PTV,” said Bob Klytta, President of the Provincetown Community Television Board of Directors.

“Amy is the right person to lead PTV going forward,” Klytta added.

The board’s decision to hire Davies was unanimous.

Davies began her career with Cape 11 News, before working for radio station WQRC in Hyannis. She has also held roles with the Cape Cod Community Media Center, Mashpee TV, and the town of Dennis.
