Provincetown Jazz Festival Returns For It’s 14th Year

HYANNIS – Two dates have been set for the 14th annual Provincetown Jazz Festival coming up in August.

For the past 13 years, the festival has presented jazz musicians from the United States, Canada, the U.K., and other worldwide locations, and this year they will feature five jazz musicians who are going to make their first festival debut.

On Thursday, August 29th at 7p.m. the Crown & Anchor will host Vocalist Cassandre McKinley, Trumpeter Jason Palmer, Pianist Fred Boyle, Bassist Ron Ormsby, and Bart Weisman on Drums.

On Monday, August 13th at 7:30p.m. The Cotuit Center for the Arts will host Pianist Tim Ray Trio, Bassist John Lockwood, Mark Walker on Drums, and Bruce Abbott on the saxophone, among other performers.

Tickets for both events are set at $30, with a portion of profits being donated to charity.

Plymouth and Brockton Bus Services will also be offering free transportation for the event.
