Provincetown Museum Names New Consulting Curator

PROVINCETOWN – Sam Tager has been named as Consulting Curator of the Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum. 

The purpose of the recently created position is to support the museum’s exhibitions and collections. Tager has previously worked on PMPM exhibitions, including “The great Provincetown Summer – 1916”. 

He is a part-time resident of the town which many consider one of the most important art colonies in the world.  It is the longest running one in America. 

Tager has been developing, designing and installing museum exhibitions for more than a quarter of a century.  He is currently The Senior Designer and Assistant Director of the Museums of Science and Culture at Harvard. 

His personal artistic creations have been shown in New York and Boston.
