Provincetown Residents OK Cash for School Upgrades

ProvincetownPROVINCETOWN – Provincetown’s aging high school building is in line to get $7.3 million in upgrades.

Town Meeting voters Monday night approved the money that will be used for heating and air conditioning upgrades.

In other action – Provincetown voters rejected an attempt to put a moratorium on condo conversions.

The article was designed to preserve what’s left of the rental housing market in town for middle and low income resident.

Voters did approve a smoking ban on town-owned beaches.
