DENNIS – Officials in Dennis are holding a public meeting tonight to gather input on the future of Dr. Bottero Road.

The road is dealing with ongoing severe erosion, much of which is caused by winter storms.

The town is looking at ways to protect the road and keep access to Chapin Beach open. The Dennis Beach Management Advisory Task Force is working on the issue and has been directed by the Board of Selectmen to make a final recommendation on designs for fixing the issue by the end of the month.

The meeting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at the Stone Hearing Room at Dennis Town Hall.
