Public Meeting to Dicuss Plans for Barnstable Dog Park

HYANNIS – Plans are moving forward for the Barnstable Dog Park and a public informational meeting will be held next week.

The park will be built along Phinney’s Lane near Hathaway’s Pond and is being funded through a grant from the Stanton Foundation, which encourages positive dog and human relationships.

According to the Town Manager’s office, the town is working closely on the project with the Committee for a Barnstable Dog Park.

The meeting on the project will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Selectmen’s Conference Room on the second floor of Town Hall in Hyannis.
