Public Meetings to Kick Off Three Bays Restoration Project

COTUIT – The Association to Preserve Cape Cod will host two public meetings next week to kick off a restoration project to clean up Three Bays.

The Association, the town of Barnstable and Three Bays Preservation will discuss the impacts of stormwater pollutants and the project getting underway to address the issue.

The Environmental Protection Agency Southeast New England Program for Coastal Watershed Restoration awarded the APCC and the town of Barnstable more than $470,000 for a three year stormwater project in the Three Bays watershed.

The meetings are Wednesday at the Cotuit Library and Thursday at the Osterville Library – both at 7 p.m.
