BOURNE – A public retail pharmacy has been opened by the Community Health Center of Cape Cod. Its two pharmacists will be available for patients whether or not the use the center.
Services provided include new prescriptions, refills, and immunizations.
For patients whose insurance is not yet active, there is a temporary sliding scale available and prescriptions can be transferred from other pharmacies.
It is located in Bourne on Waterhouse Drive, one mile from the Bourne Bridge.
The hours are 9am to 7pm Monday through Thursday and Fridays from 9am to 6pm.
Some other services provided by the center are primary care, optometry, dental, addictions treatment and women’s health.
