FOXBORO – Just days ahead of the biggest game of the year, there are questions about the health of Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady.
Brady did not practice Thursday as he deals with a right hand injury that limited him at practice on Wednesday. He was spotted wearing gloves on his hands as the team prepared for practice Thursday.
Brady’s unwillingness to miss practice time is well known. Despite that, he has missed a number of sessions this year with lingering injuries, including a nagging Achilles problem and a left shoulder problem that popped up on the team’s injury report both early and late in the regular season.
This week marked the first time this season the team reported the star quarterback is dealing with a right hand injury.
The Patriots have postponed Brady’s media availability twice this week. He is scheduled to speak Friday.
The Patriots will release their final injury report Friday afternoon after their final practice ahead of Sunday’s AFC Championship Game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
