CHATHAM – Chatham voters will decide on a contested race for selectmen in today’s election.
Incumbent Seth Taylor is facing a challenge from Shareen Davis, a local graphic designer and photographer.
The selectman’s race is the only contested one on the ballot.
Chatham voters will decide on several ballot questions, including a tax override to pay for an expansion of the town’s sewer system that was approved at town meeting.
A separate tax override ballot question seeks money for waterfront improvements.
A third, non-binding question, asks Governor Charlie Baker to support moving spent fuel rods at the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Plant into a permanent facility.
