PROVINCETOWN – A shark sighting this afternoon caused the closure of a Provincetown beach.
Race Point Beach was closed to swimming after the confirmed sighting of a great white shark.
An alert of the sighting was posted on the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy’s Sharktivity app.
