CHATHAM – The inclement weather forecast for Monday night has prompted the organizers of Chatham’s First Night celebration to cancel the midnight fireworks.
The midnight show will not be rescheduled, but the 6 p.m. show at Veteran’s Field will still take place.
Heavy rain is expected by Monday night across much of the area.
The rest of Chatham’s First Night schedule is still in place for Monday evening.
