MIDDLEBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) — Records show a wrong-way driver who authorities say caused a crash that killed her and four college students, including three from Cape Cod, had been cited for speeding five times.

The Enterprise reports that 31-year-old Valantein Burson’s driving record shows she was cited for speeding in Warren, Sturbridge, Stoughton, Canton and Westport. Her last speeding citation was issued in October 2015.

The Fall River woman died in the Monday crash that also killed 19-year-old Jordan Galvin-Jutras, of Hyannis, 20-year-old Kraig Diggs, of Osterville, 19-year-old Jordan Fisher, of Harwich, and 19-year-old Cory Licata, of West Babylon, New York.

The men were in a northbound vehicle that burst into flames after being struck by a car going south in the northbound lanes of Interstate 495 in Middleborough. Diggs was driving.

The crash remains under investigation.

A candlelight vigil was held for the victims Wednesday evening on the Hyannis Village Green.
