Recount to be Held Next Week in Mashpee

MASHPEE – A recount will be held in the Town of Mashpee to determine the winner of a seat on the Board of Selectmen.

Thomas O’Hara, who lost a re-election bid by six votes to newcomer Andrew Gottlieb, has turned in the required signatures to request a recount.

Mashpee Town Clerk Deborah Dami’s office is working to schedule the recount, with a tentative date set for next Tuesday.
