HYANNIS – The American Red Cross Annual Heroes Breakfast showcases how local heroes change lives through selfless heroics either by saving a life, or through making a real difference in the community, and the organization is still seeking nominations for the annual event.
Nominations can be submitted through December 31, and include a number of hero categories including life-saving, community service, professional, youth, among others.
The event will be emceed by Air Force Col. Virginia Doonan, commander of the 102nd Intelligence Wing, and will be held April 7, 2017 at the Resort and conference Center at Hyannis.
