Registration for 4C’s Vaccine Clinics Opens Friday

WEST BARNSTABLE-Registration for two indoor coronavirus vaccine clinics at Cape Cod Community College will open Friday, March 5 at noon.

Eligible residents will be able to sign up for a slot at the clinics being held on Tuesday, March 9, or Thursday, March 11. Both clinics will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Appointments will be made available on the state’s online appointment portal, which can be accessed by clicking here. Barnstable County health officials are recommending that those interested in scheduling an appointment should scroll until these clinics appear on the screen, as opposed to searching by date in the search bar.

A total of 600 doses of Johnson & Johnson’s single-dose vaccinations will be available at each of the two clinics.

Those who are a part of Phase 1 of the state’s virus vaccination plan are eligible to sign up for a spot at the college’s clinics, as are those 65 years old and above, those with two or more certain medical conditions, and residents and staff members of low income or affordable senior housing centers.

Early education, childcare, and K-12 workers will not be eligible to sign up for these clinics at Cape Cod Community College on Friday, as their registration window opens on March 11. Those educational workers will be able to sign up for future clinics at that point.

Caregivers accompanying someone aged 75 and above will also not be able to sign up for these clinics, as they’re advised to make an appointment at a mass vaccination site along with the person they are alongside.

The clinics are being offered by the Barnstable County Department of Health and Environment.
