COTUIT – The Barnstable Department of Public Works will be paving the top course of asphalt on Old Post Road in Cotuit on Wednesday, November 19.
The limits of work include the portion of Old Post Road between Route 28 and Point Isabella Road.
Paving is expected to be completed by Thursday, November 20, weather permitting.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane during paving operations.
Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes to avoid delays.
Work will start promptly at 7 AM and run until 5 PM, after which traffic will be opened back onto both lanes of the roadway.
