BOURNE – A repaving project is set to get underway today in Bourne, according to MassDot.
The million dollar project includes resurfacing work and drainage improvements to the Routes 6 and 28 Bypass Road from Memorial Circle near the Wareham town line to Belmont Circle near the Bourne Bridge in Buzzards Bay.
The milling and paving work will take place at night during October, all other work will be done during regular working hours from 7 to 3:30. The project will require temporary lane restrictions, all of the work is expected to be complete by the end of October.
