Repeat OUI Offender Sentenced To Prison After Route 132 Arrest

GavelBARNSTABLE – A Barnstable Superior Court judge Tuesday sentenced a Hyannis man to up to 5 years in state prison after he was convicted again on drunk charges.

67-year-old Federick Yeomans was arrested in September at the Route 132 rest area after police received calls of an erratic driver in the area.

Yeomans had previously been convicted four or more times of operating under the influence, leading to enhanced charges. He will be sent to MCI-Cedar Junction in Walpole.

It was Yeomans’ thirteenth OUI arrest.

  1. It takes 13 OUIs to finally get locked up. Thank you MA judicial system for being expedient for getting a dangerous drunk driver off the public ways for a while. I doubt very much he is going to serve any where close to the 5 years. More like 2 if that. Then he will be back again.
” It was Yeoman’s thirteenth OUI arrest.” Should have read it was Yeoman’s thirteenth time he was caught.
