BREWSTER- 1ST Barnstable District State Representative Tim Whelan (R-Brewster) has announced backing from the Massachusetts Correction Officers Federated Union for his re-election campaign.
MCOFU represents over 4,800 employees serving in Massachusetts Correctional Institutions and several county correctional facilities across the Commonwealth.
Representative Whelan is currently serving in his second with committee assignments including service on the House Committee on Ways & Means, being a ranking member of the Joint Committee on Public Service, and the Joint Committee on Higher Education.
Whelan was recently recognized by MCOFU with their ‘Representative of the Year’ award at their annual retirement dinner in Milford.
