Representative in Congress
Ninth District
Mark Alliegro is a distinguished scientist, researcher and educator. He is also a family man. Married for 33 years to Mary Anne, also a research scientist and biologist, they have two daughters, Nicole who is in broadcasting, and Kelly a Petty Officer in the United States Navy. Tom is a native of South Boston, MA and was educated in area Catholic schools. Joining the Navy in 1968, he served four years on active duty including a one year deployment to South Vietnam during which he was a combat advisor to the South Vietnamese Navy. Additionally, Tom served on three different type ships. Leaving active duty as a Petty Officer 2nd Class in 1972, Tom pursued his degree at Boston State College and the University Of Massachusetts at Boston, graduating with a degree in Political Science and a minor in History, in 1981. Senator in General Court
Cape & Islands District
Jim Crocker was born and raised on Cape Cod in a large family with his parents and five sisters. He attended public schools and is a graduate of Barnstable High School. Jim’s parents instilled in him the family values that believe that success is achieved through hard work, and in addition, service to the community was expected and honorable. Most importantly, they taught Jim to love Cape Cod and the Islands, to have the courage to stand up for his convictions, and the fight passionately to serve others. For more information click here.
Plymouth & Barnstable District
Vinny deMacedo was elected to the State Senate from the Plymouth and Barnstable District on November 4, 2014. He had previously represented the First Plymouth District in the Massachusetts House of Representatives since January 1999. In the 2015-2016 legislative session, Senator deMacedo has been appointed to the leadership position of Ranking Minority Member of the Senate Committee on Ways and Means. First Barnstable District
Representative Timothy Whelan proudly represents the 1st Barnstable District on Beacon Hill. A lifelong public servant, Tim has worked for the Department of Corrections, Massachusetts State Police and is a PROUD United States Marine veteran. Second Barnstable District
Will is a true “Cape Codder.” The Crockers settled in the Town of Barnstable with the first families in 1632; seven years before it was incorporated. Will was born in Hyannis and raised in West Barnstable. Will graduated from Barnstable High School in 1975 and attended Cape Cod Community College, subsequently graduating from the University of Maine in 1980. For more information click here.
Third Barnstable District
State Representative and Eagle Scout David T. Vieira was born and raised in Teaticket, MA. He is married to Rebecca Vieira a print artist and assistant principal for the Falmouth Public Schools. They reside in East Falmouth with their daughter Emma Marie. David graduated as the Roll of Honor student from Falmouth High School in 1993, received his BA in Communications, Legal Institutions, Economics, and Government from The American University in Washington, DC in 1997. Fifth Barnstable District
Randy started his public service activities in 2001 when he was invited to join the Town of Sandwich’s finance committee. Three years later, he won election to the board of selectmen and served two three-year terms. Randy was sworn in as state representative from the 5th Barnstable District on January 5, 2011. A practicing CPA and well respected by his legislative peers, Randy is thoroughly versed on the complexities and nuances of municipal and state budgeting. For more information click here.

Barnstable County
Sheriff Cummings was sworn in as the Barnstable County Sheriff in January of 1999. He was elected in his first run for public office …and has been twice re-elected without opposition. In 1974, not long after an honorable discharge from the United States Navy, Jim began a law enforcement career with the Massachusetts State Police. For more information click here.

Ronald R. Beaty, Jr.
Ronald R. Beaty, Jr. attended Boston College where he studied Administrative Studies. Beaty Jr. also studied Education technology at Lesley University and has also studied Legal Offiice at the Cape Cod Community College. Beaty Jr. is a native Cape Codder.
