BARNSTABLE – A number of Republican Barnstable county officials announced their endorsements for 2nd Barnstable State Rep. candidate Will Crocker on Sunday.
Sheriff Jim Cummings, District Attorney Michael O’Keefe, County Commissioner Leo Cakounes, Register of Deeds Jack Meade, Clerk of Courts Scott Nickerson, and Register of Probate and Family Court Anastasia Welsh Perrino have all endorsed the Centerville Republican ahead of the general election.
Crocker is running against Democrat Aaron Kanzer.
“I’ve known and worked with Will many years, his knowledge of the correctional system and on opioid addiction will give our community another great advocate on Beacon Hill,” said Cummings
“Will has demonstrated his commitment to public service and will make an effective State Representative for Barnstable and Yarmouth,” said O’Keefe.
Either Crocker or Kanzer will replace Brian Mannal on Beacon Hill.
