ORLEANS – Researchers tagged the 10th great white shark of the season this morning off the coast of Orleans.
Working with the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy, state shark expert Dr. Greg Skomal tagged the 11-footer off Nauset Beach just south of the parking lot about 100 yards from shore.
Researchers are in the final year of a five-year white shark population study.
Thirty sharks were tagged last year.
