Resident Arrested After Incident At Barnstable Town Council Meeting

PageBARNSTABLE – A West Barnstable resident had to be removed from the town council meeting Thursday night after shouting an obscenity at councilors during public comment.

Patrick Page has had a long dispute with the council over a stormwater issue on his property. He frequently brings the issue before the board, often becoming animated in his remarks.

“You don’t know how (expletive) crazy I feel,” Page said, before being placed under arrest by police chief Paul McDonald and other officers.

Page could be heard yelling “Let’s go everybody!” as he was being removed from Town Hall.

Page faces disorderly conduct and resisting arrest charges and was held over night at the Barnstable Police Department.
