Rhode Island Man Pleads Guilty to Wareham Bank Robbery

157867210 (1)WAREHAM – A 38 year old East Providence, Rhode Island man plead guilty in U.S. District Court in Hartford for a number of bank robberies in Connecticut and Massachusetts, including in Wareham.

Robert Chadronet plead guilty to one count of bank robbery and admitted to the incidents.

According to court documents, Chadronet used force, violence and intimidation to rob around $1,000 from a brank of TD bank in Branford, Conn. on July 27, 2015.

A month later he took over $2,300 from a Citizen’s Bank branch in Westbrook, Conn.

On September 9, 2015 he took nearly $700 from a Citizen’s Bank branch on Cranberry Highway in Wareham.

Chadronet is scheduled to be sentenced on December 28, where he faces a maximum of 20 years in prison.
