HYANNIS – The Town of Barnstable is alerting drivers of roadwork construction in Hyannis next week.
The Department of Public Works will begin roadway improvements on Smith Street in Hyannis on Tuesday, October 9. Construction is expected to last until Friday, October 26, weather permitting.
The town advises motorists to seek an alternate route to avoid the construction, lasting from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Traffic will be restricted to one lane in the area during construction operations and will open back up at night.
