BARNSTABLE – Road work begins today on four roads in the town of Barnstable.
DPW crews will be conducting various projects on Mary Dunn Road and Old Strawberry Hill Road in Hyannis, Wakeby Road in Marstons Mills, and Putnam Ave in Cotuit.
The roads will be reduced to one lane during work hours, which are 7 am to 5 pm daily.
The projects should last about a month, and motorists are asked to seek alternate routes.
