Road Work Projects To Begin Tuesday in Barnstable

BARNSTABLE – Barnstable officials are asking drivers to be aware of some ongoing road work projects.

Starting Tuesday, paving work will continue on Old Strawberry Hill Road in Hyannis between Route 132 and Phinney’s Lane, and a series of roadway improvements will begin on East Bay Road in Osterville.

Both roads will be reduced to one lane during work hours, which will run from 7 am to 5 pm.

The DPW says the work should wrap up by October 23.
