COTUIT – Barnstable town officials are asking motorists to seek an alternate route from Putnam Avenue in Cotuit as crews pave the road.
The road will be reduced to one lane. The work should be completed by the end of the day, weather permitting.
Ongoing road paving projects on Stonybrook Road and Satucket Road in Brewster are scheduled to wrap up on Tuesday.
Brewster police are asking residents to slow down in the area, and say they will have extra traffic enforcement as a result of those projects.
