Roadwork Begins Next Week in Barnstable

 

BARNSTABLE – Road work is set to begin in Cotuit, Marstons Mills and West Barnstable next week as the Barnstable DPW conducts repaving work along with a contractor.

The projects include clearing of overgrowth, pavement milling, street sweeping, new pavement and repair work.

In Cotuit work will be performed on Abbey Gate, Buckingham Way, Oxford Drive and Queen Anne Lane.

In Marstons Mills roads affected are Cinderella Terracce and High view Circle.

In West Barnstable work will be performed on Bursley Path, Cedar Street, Locust Avenue and Lothrups Lane.

Normal hours for the work will be 7-5 Monday through Friday and is scheduled to end on June 14th. Any lane closures will be accompanied by police details to assist with traffic but motorists are being advised to seek alternate routes.

Crews will begin the projects on Monday, April 15th.
