BARNSTABLE – The Town of Barnstable has announced that The Massachusetts Department of Transportation will begin sign work on Route 6 next week.
They will be replacing the Mid-Cape Highway’s directional signs between Eastham and Sandwich beginning Tuesday.
The fabrication and installation will take place on the road’s shoulders, so there are no planned lane closures.
Work will take place from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and is expected to be completed by May 24th.
