Rock to Stop Homelessness Event Planned

ORLEANS – The Homeless Prevention Council is hosting an event next month to raise funds for the prevention of homelessness on the Lower Cape. The Rock to Stop Homelessness event will be held at Hog Island Brewery in Orleans on Saturday, November 17th.

 A $20 donation gets you in the door, appetizers and entertainment by the 60’s cover band the Broughams. There will also be a 50/50 raffle and an auction. Organizers say they expect about 200 attendees and are also looking for sponsors and donors.

Every year the Homeless Prevention Council serves between 1,700 and 2,000 residents from towns on the lower Cape.
