Route 44 Closed Tonight in Sections of Carver, Middleboro

CARVER – Roadway maintenance will close down Route 44 in both directions in sections of Carver and Middleboro tonight.

The work will take place on the divided stretch of highway between the lights at Route 105 in Middleboro and the junction of Route 58 in Carver. The closure is in effect from 8:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m.

Drivers will be detoured through Plympton Center, via Plympton Street, Prospect Road, and Parsonage Road.

Crews will be sweeping and removing debris from both the eastbound and westbound side of 44.
