BOURNE–The Barnstable County Deputy Sheriff’s Association will be hosting the “Run Around the Jail” 5K Run/Walk next weekend in Bourne.
The Association will be partnering with Special Olympics of Massachusetts, and all proceeds from the event will go to Special Olympics.
Race day is September 14 at the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Office.
Registration opens at 7 a.m. A half mile Kids’ Run will be held at 8:45 a.m., followed by the 5K at 9 and an awards ceremony at 10. Refreshments will be provided, and there will be prizes raffled off.
