Ryan’s Granted Approval to Open Amusement Center in Plymouth

PLYMOUTH-  Families in Plymouth will now have a new way to spend their free time as Ryan Family Amusements is set to open in the town.

At a hearing held at Town Hall Tuesday night, the Plymouth Board of Selectmen granted Ryan’s approval to open on 136 Water Street.

The new center will feature 35 of the most popular arcade, video and skills games, as well as a prize counter.  The game options will range from nostalgic favorites like Pac-Man to recent releases like Ice’s “Bag Toss”.

The new amusement building will take over the lot vacated by the former Al’s Restaurant, which closed in March.

The 2700 square- foot space will be retrofitted over the next couple of months, with a grand opening expected this July.

This becomes the 10th location for Ryan’s, which operates bowling alleys and games rooms across Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

Once opened, the center will serve guests from 9 AM – Midnight daily.
