Sandwich Arts Alliance Offering Several Winter Programs

SANDWICH – The winter classes offered by the Sandwich Arts Alliance kick off around town beginning later this month.

The classes, which will be held at the Sandwich Public Library and artists’ studios, will begin January 22.

The classes run five to six weeks.

Along with adult programs there will also be opportunities for children seven years of age and older.

Returning favorites include Pastels with Betsy Payne Cook, Ms. Hannah’s youth drawing class, and Steve Gregory’s Learn to Play in a Band for ages 9 to 13.

New offerings include beginner and intermediate acrylics, beginner drawing, watercolor, a youth art sampler class, and Open Studio for teens.

Other returning workshops include Make Jewelry with Silver Metal Clay, and Paint Night: Ladies Night Out.

Several new workshops have also been added which range from Painting Waves, improve, printmaking and paper crafts.
