Sandwich-Bourne Lions Club Collecting Winter Coats for Needy

SANDWICH – The Sandwich-Bourne Lions Club is collecting new or gently used coats for people in need ahead of winter.

The group kicked off their annual coat drive and will be accepting donations at a number of locations in Bourne and Sandwich. The drive runs until December 15.

All sizes are needed. The items will be donated to Anton’s Cleaners Coats for Kids Drive.

The Sandwich drop off locations are the Stop and Shop stores on Quaker Meetinghouse Road and Route 6A, the Rockland Trust on Cotuit Road, and the Eastern Bank branches on Route 6A or Cotuit Road. Bourne residents can drop off coats at the Rockland Trust on Clay Pond Road, the Bourne Community Center in Buzzards Bay, and the Jonathan Bourne Public Library.
