SANDWICH – More than 90 vendors are expected to take part in this weekend’s annual Sandwich-Fest. The event aims to find the best sandwich in Sandwich and is organized by the town’s chamber of commerce.
The competition and street festival will take place this Saturday from 10 am until 4 on Water Street (Route 130) stretching from Town Hall Square to The Hoxie House.
Attendees can expect crafts, food, entertainment, and exhibitions from area businesses and non-profit organizations as well as a dog costume parade and competition.
The highlight of the program will be the sandwich competition, featuring more than a dozen local restaurants with seatings scheduled for 11 am, noon, and 1 pm and libations provided by Cape Cod Beer.
The Sandwich-Fest festival is free and open to the public, tickets to the competition ate available for $20 and can be purchased online at sandwichchamber.com/sandwichfest.
