SANDWICH – Sandwich Soul will be jingling all the way to the season with their “Holiday Special” on Saturday at 7 p.m. on the Sandwich Town Hall Glasstown Stage.
These soulful teens will be singing sounds of the season under the choral direction of Melinda Lasit with choreography by Kevin Lasit.
The show is surely to get even Scrooge in the mood for gift giving, holiday cookies and hot chocolate.
The concert is a fundraiser for the High School.
Sandwich Soul is an award winning show choir taking first place with superior and excellent ratings consecutively for the last five years at local and international choral competitions.
Sandwich Soul performed the national anthem at a nationally televised Boston Celtic’s game this year.
They also do many local performances for the Sandwich and Cape Cod community.
They have sung the national anthem for Memorial Day, the DeConto Race, plus holiday performances at Heritage Museums and Gardens, First Night of Sandwich as well as being featured at the Town of Sandwich’s 375 year celebration.
Sandwich Soul has toured to New York City to participate in a musical theater Broadway workshop and competed in an international choral festival with a first place finish.
The choir has toured Florida to compete in a national choral festival and also attended a Disney Broadway workshop at Disney World.
