OAK BLUFFS – There’s a notable new worker at a popular Vineyard seafood restaurant: Sasha Obama.
The youngest daughter of President Barack Obama has taken a summer job at Nancy’s in Oak Bluffs, where she is working the cash register at the takeout window, busing tables, and getting the restaurant prepared for the busy lunch hour.
The Boston Herald reports Sasha, 15, will work until the rest of the first family arrive on the island Saturday for their two week vacation. Nancy’s has been a favorite stop of the Obamas during their annual Vineyard visit.
A secret service contingent has been present at the restaurant during Sasha’s shifts.
